5 Minutes Is All It Takes

Did you start out this morning determined to eat better, drink lots of water and maybe even get to the gym - only to find yourself exhausted on the couch at the end of another day that somehow got away from you?

The 5 Minute Action List 

This is a list of things you can do in 5 minutes to get you a little bit closer to your goal. You want them to be small - so small your brain won't build up any resistance or make excuses. Any time you have an extra 5 minutes in your day, pull out your list and pick one thing. Because you've done already done all the brainstorming, taking action becomes super simple and easy!


10 small actions for big results:

  1. Walk around the block

  2. Fill up your water bottle

  3. Put on your favourite song and dance

  4. Cut up a cucumber (or other fresh veggie)

  5. Get on the floor and do some cat/cow stretches

  6. Make a grocery list and put it next to your keys

  7. Do a short meditation (apps like Calm allow you to sort by time)

  8. Look up a recipe you want to try and make a note of the ingredients you'll need

  9. Do 10 squat to calf raises

  10. Write down 5 things you're grateful for

Your day is full of many moments. Taking a few of these for yourself is critical for your health and wellness


When you find some space - between appointments and meetings and pick ups - to carve out a few minutes for an action, your body and mind will thank you 🥰.


And guess what? These small actions will stack up on top of each other so that before you know it, you'll start to feel progress.
